    Hello,

For several weeks now I cannot access my website’s feed and my posts do not show up in the WordPress reader.

    When I type florinpopa.eu/feed I am redirected to florinpopa.eu.

I’ve found this RSS feed of my site: https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/140512476 but it does not show the latest posts published.

I’ve checked the Jetpack settings and everything seems to be working well otherwise.

    Could you please help?

    Thanks,
    Florin

    Hello,

The feed seems to be updating now as usual. However, the engagement on my posts has dropped significantly in the last months and I’m wondering if all subscribers receive updates about new posts. I am not talking about the normal fluctuations in engagement but about a major and steady drop (while I haven’t changed my blogging habits or the topics I blog about).

Is there a way to check this?

    Thanks!

    Florin

    Hi @florinpopa10

I ran some tests on your site, and it seems that although your domain has a valid SSL certificate, it is still possible to access your site via HTTP. Your visitors and search engines can use either HTTP or HTTPS to access your site.

This is an issue for search engines, since it often causes confusion and duplicate content, but it is also an issue for your site’s communication with Jetpack, as our system does not know whether it should connect to your site via one or the other address. This could also be impacting your feed stats.

To solve this issue, I would recommend that you change your site’s URL to HTTPS (you can do so under Settings > General in your dashboard), and then ask your host for help redirecting all traffic from HTTP to HTTPS.

If your host is unable to help with that, you can follow the instructions here to do so:

Many thanks, that is super useful. I have done the suggested changes.
