    Hello Chris

We found the problem was with the Yoast SEO Plugin. When we deactivate the Yoast plugin we get the RSS Feed https://cekricek.id/berita/feed/gn running smoothly, but when we reactivate the RSS Feed again not found.

Have you ever had the same complaint? Has there been a solution?

    Thanks for your help.

    Regards
    Arief

    Hi Arief,

I suspect you have Yoast set up to remove the /category/ part of the url. That tends to confuse GN Publisher.

    Instead of:

    https://cekricek.id/celebs/feed/gn

try redoing your feed urls to this:

    https://cekricek.id/?category_name=celebs&feed=gn

and just change the category name for your different categories.

Let me know if that helps 🙂

    Awesome, glad that worked out.

I’ll mark this thread as resolved, but if you run into anything else just let me know,

    Hello
    Chris

Looks like I got a new problem.

The feature image on GNews doesn’t appear when I post some photos in the article. But it runs smoothly when I just post photos on the feature image form.

Can you help me solve this problem?

    Regards

hmmm, the image is included in the feed correctly and marked as being the primary image.

Google News is changing some things up right now and I don’t know for sure if they are getting the image url from the feed or from your webpage. Either way, with a quick look, it looks like they should be able to pick it up okay. Having other images on the page will sometimes cause the bot to pick the wrong image, but it normally doesn’t cause there to be no image.

Has this just happened once, or multiple times?

I’m about to close shop for the night, 2am here, but I’ll check back in in the morning 🙂

    Hello Chris

Thanks for your help. I’ve overcome this.

By the way, I have another question, but it doesn’t seem to be related to this theme. But I hope you can help me.

My website is 1 year old. But until now the article does not appear on google discover. Do you have any special tricks to optimize google discover?

    Regards
