When this happens, it’s usually caused by a plugin or theme conflict. This page has suggestions on how you can diagnose the issue:

I tried deactivating the plugins, and it definitely made it worse, and created more problems for the validator. I’m really not good with computers, there has to be some reason why a right-out-the-box feed is causing problems, and I am incapable of figuring out where the problem lies.

What’s the URL to the feed you’re having trouble with now? This one from your original post:
https://fancybat.com/feed/empowered/
Is displaying CSS information, not an RSS feed.
Interesting. I don’t know what CSS is, but that is supposed to be the RSS feed. How can I turn it from one into the other? When I created the feed I thought it was supposed to come out as an RSS, and it looks like the other one, the one that works. It looks like an RSS feed to me.
Thanks!

Are you sure that this is the feed URL you need help with?
https://fancybat.com/feed/empowered/
Usually, PowerPress feed URLs end in /feed tho I suppose there can be exceptions. Regardless, take a look at PowerPress >> Settings, Advanced Mode >> Feeds and see what feed URL(s) are listed there. Maybe you have an incorrect feed URL?
That’s the URL in the “Feeds” section, yes. It does give a warning saying that all feeds need at least one episode to be valid, but I’ve already published an episode under that feed, and it shows up in the link, so I don’t think that’s the issue. Comparing it to the settings in our other site (cartoncast), everything looks the same. None of our podcasts ends in /feed, they all have /feed/somethingelse.
Thanks for the help. Any other suggestions?

I looked again at the source code to that feed URL. There’s a “coming soon” bit at the bottom. If you’re using a maintenance plugin or something else that’s got your site in “under construction” mode, it’s likely blocking access to the feed URL, which is why you’re having trouble with the feed.
Hello @zaynation,
The maintenance screen may not load for you if you are signed into your blog. Make sure you use a browser private window to see what everyone else sees when they are not signed into your site. It is common for those plugins to block the RSS feed as well, which makes it tricky to pre-launch a site but this is a good thing, if you launched but still had the coming soon pages, the links to the episodes would be lost as visitors would come back to a website that is not functioning.
Another warning though. I see the comment at the bottom: <!– Generated by Endurance Page Cache –>, keep in mind that your RSS feed cannot have HTML comments at the bottom, so what ever is adding that comment you will need to find it and remove it.
Thanks so much, I’ll try these out.
It worked! I set the Endurance Cache down a level and Launched the Site and it’s working great now. Thank you!
