Thanks for the article. Unfortunately neither example fixed the issue. The reason for not wanting the wordpress feeds as SSL is it creates issues supplying data to iTunes. I’ll keep working on it. Thanks again.
announcesolutions, just wondering what type of issues SSL creates for the RSS feeds. I’m using RSS for a Mailchimp campaign and would like to avoid any problems. Thanks.
Brian my case was directly related to the iTunes store in which the free Lets Encrypt isn’t compatible. Apple requires a 3 chain SSL cert versus 2 and Java 6. It was rectified by purchasing an SSL certificate. I am unsure about Mailchimp. Best be wise to contact them.
