RSS Not working

    Hi there

    So I am working with 2 websites (both hidden behind coming soon page) and I need to get the blog feed from one website onto the other.

    I have tried using my domain/feed as well as removing the coming soon plugin etc and nothing seems to work.

    I get the following error message every time on both websites:

    RSS Transforming Divorce Feed
    RSS Error: This XML document is invalid, likely due to invalid characters. XML error: Mismatched tag at line 63, column 9

    I have tried various ideas from the wordpress forums but nothing works

    How would I go about fixing this issue?

    Any help would be great.

    Without a link to your RSS feed so we can see what the server is sending out, tough to suggest something. If you have any RSS related plugins, might try deactivating those. Could be odd content within one of your posts throwing it off. Hard to say. If you run though this, it might give some hints: https://validator.w3.org/feed/

    Thank so much – so I checked the feed in the validator you sent and received the following:

    http://transformingdivorce.co.za/feed/

    It looks like this is a web page, not a feed. I looked for a feed associated with this page, but couldn’t find one. Please enter the address of your feed to validate.

    I kind of understand what is being said here but Im not 100% how Im supposed to solve this? I have no RSS plugins installed on my site at the moment.

    Yeah, that is definitely not what an RSS feed looks like. Some plugin or your theme is causing it. I would try deactivating all your plugins and trying one of the default Twenty Fifteen/Sixteen themes just to see if the feed starts working.
