RSS problems
-
I just started with WordPress so please bear with me.
I am using a free theme that I downloaded from the WordPress Theme Directory. It is called Blackout 1.0 by ZeeBob WordPress themes, (just so you have a little more background info). You can find my blog at http://www.where2lookonline.com/blog
In the sidebar, this theme creates the following two links:
” title=”<?php _e(‘The latest comments to all posts in RSS’); ?>”><?php _e(‘Comments RSS’); ?>
and
” title=”<?php _e(‘Syndicate this site using RSS’); ?>”><?php _e(‘RSS’); ?>
They are displayed on my blog as links for “comments rss” and “rss” respectively. When I click on these links in IE, I get the error page:
The webpage cannot be displayed
Most likely cause:
Some content or files on this webpage require a program that you don’t have installed. Why is this?
Am I doing something wrong?
Do I need to install another program?
If so, which one?
Do I even need these links?
If they did work, what exactly do they do?
I really am a newbie when it comes to using wordPress, so any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
