RSVP submit not working

    Greetings,

    We have been using Events Made Easy and love how it works but suddenly have problems with RSVP forms not submitting. The forms seem to consistently submit in Chrome but not in Firefox and IE. When it fails, you can usually try again right away and get it to work if you submit it a second time. The error message is always “You’re not allowed to do this.”

    Any ideas about what’s causing this? We’d hate to have to stop using the plugin but need the form to work consistently in all 3 major browsers.

    The last EME update was more than 3 weeks ago, so if you’re saying “suddenly”, that means something else is going on. Also if it works ok in chrome but not in FF or IE, I’m really more inclined of saying something else is going on.
    The “you’re not allowed” message is shown only if some wp security measure (also implemented in eme) is not fulfilled …
    Any example? Also: did you check the server and database error logs?

    Thanks for responding! I think it’s probably more likely that I just noticed this and it isn’t necessary “suddenly” now that I think about it. I played around with the form submission quite a bit and it does seem to be failing in FF and IE and not Chrome pretty consistently. But I can usually get it to submit in FF and IE after one failed attempt. So it will generally go through on the 2nd try. (But not always.) Good idea to check the error logs. Any other ideas for things I can try to provide more hints as to what’s going wrong?

    Are you using a multilingual plugin? There are currently some small fixes in dev for those in combination with rsvp …
    And maybe an example url?
