I want to display specific information each year from date X until date Y. This should be possible for many different dateframes. I want a page on our fishing club website which shows the customer which fish he can catch at the time he visits the page. So for example I want the page to display “Bachforelle” each year from 1. March until 30. September. When I want to create the rule and leave the datesection for the year blank the rule is not working properly.

Oh I think I knew where my mistake is: if I set a rule for 1. march 2022 to 1. april 2022 and set the rule to “repeate each year for 99 years” then it should automatically display the information from 1. march to 1. april in 2023 as well, right?

Yes, if you want to repeat something every year from march to april you can do this as following:

    Start: 2022-03-01 00:00
    End: 2022-04-01 00:00
    Repeat: yearly
    Interval of recurrences: 1
How often to repeat this action: Repeat a set number of times
    Number of repetitions: 99

Then check with “Show projected dates/times” and you see something like this (offset depending on your timezone):

    2022-03-01 00:00 +0100 2022-04-01 00:00 +0200
    2023-03-01 00:00 +0100 2023-04-01 00:00 +0200
    2024-03-01 00:00 +0100 2024-04-01 00:00 +0200
    2025-03-01 00:00 +0100 2025-04-01 00:00 +0200
    2026-03-01 00:00 +0100 2026-04-01 00:00 +0200
    2027-03-01 00:00 +0100 2027-04-01 00:00 +0200
    2028-03-01 00:00 +0100 2028-04-01 00:00 +0200
