Run Shortcodes from referenced php?

Hello,

I have a page on my wordpress that references a php file.

Inside the php file all the php code works fine.

However, I want to use shortcodes in my php file.

When I do this however, the shortcodes are simply displayed (not executed).

So how can I get wordpress to execute shortcodes when they’re in a php file?
