Hi,

I clicked Start Optimizing on the upload.php?page=ewww-image-optimizer-bulk and the plugin started running (filenames are displayed. I have not purchased an API key.
Should there be a check for the API key before the plugin runs?

There IS a check (server-side), so it will not actually optimize anything without a valid api key entered.
