• I am using S3MediaVault to manage my video streams and it uses Shortcodes instead of a direct URL. So, I am using the new Shortcode option in the “Preferred Video Source” in the settings page and enter the S3MediaVault created shortcode for the video URL, e.g. [s3mvp id=’5′] in a course.

When I view the course it throws a Critical error with the “Video Option” set as [/]Shortcode and the shortcode in the entry field. If I choose a YouTube video, the course renders correctly and the video loads in the player.

Be grateful if this could be investigated further.

  • Hello @fabl3

I can see that on my end the shortcode is not generating any error message on the frontend. So, can you send an email to [email protected]?

    Kind Regards.

As it is a live site I have taken the video streaming shortcode out that throws the error and replaced it with a normal progressive video link.

I also notice that in Tutor LMS it only supports the S3MediaVault shortcodes at the course level and not at the Lesson level. I have put the same shortcode in the Lesson that works in Course, but that does not show.

Also in Lessons it does not render the S3MediaVault shortode for a PDF that is placed in the text editor area too.
