    That doesn’t depends on the component but on the Youtube javascript API. the parameter is just a suggestion; youtube sets the quality depending on the bandwidth and the player dimensions. You can read many posts on the net about that and you can get more directly on the Youtube javascript API reference site: https://developers.google.com/youtube/js_api_reference

    No it definitely used to work before.
    But not it just hangs on the first frame in Safari.
    Try kingola.com in Safari.

    Just tested on safari (Mac OSX Maverick) and it’s working great on a screen resolution of 1920×1200…
