    Good evening All,

We would like to start a sale on our e-commerce website later this week. Currently, when we have tested putting one of our products on sale the display of the sale text renders across our page incorrectly – eg. wrong position, colour etc.

This is how the relevant pages look when an item is put on sale:

    Category page: https://gyazo.com/1edd7d5998f040186a56c29710d3ca5d

    Product page: https://gyazo.com/82f5d7f8180dbce449ca1015b4fe8474

For each of these pages, please could you help with any code that we could use to have the sale text render per the screen shot below from Bluebella.com

    https://gyazo.com/c6dbaafa785f746ce231c4f2339d362d

Per the screenshot, we would also like to have the original product price in black strikeout while the sale price is in red text.

Any assistance with this issue would be very much welcome.

    Many thanks

  • Hi, it is not possible for me to change the label or give you the code because I didn’t find that label on site. It will be helpful if you can if can set on sale.

    Thank you

    Sure – thanks.

We have managed to change the colour of the badge. It just the position and style as well as the display of the sale price text.

The following item has been put on sale and appears on the website in the two positions below.

    1. https://pureroselingerie.com/product/amelia-triangle-bra-pink/
    2. https://pureroselingerie.com/collections/amelia/

In the first example, we would like the sale badge to be placed in the top right hand corner of the main image, not the small thumbnails.

In the second example, we would like the sale badge in the top right hand corner of the image.

In both cases, we would like the sale badge to be the same as this example: https://www.bluebella.com/collections/labour-day-sale and the original price to be struck-out in black text with the sale price in red text.

    Many thanks!!

    Hi there,

Note that customizations are outside the scope of the support we provide, but I can point you in the right direction.

The first thing I would recommend is going through W3Schools‘ free CSS tutorials. This can give you the tools for customizing your store using CSS code.

Alternatively, there are great external guides available on this topic. E.g: Everything you need to know about the WooCommerce ‘Sale’ badge!

Also, have you considered using an extension like Product Badges that allows you to add badges to products in your store, choose from 140+ pre-made badges, add your own custom badge or use text badges? This extension will also give you several display options.

    I hope it helps!

    Hey @tunde84,

I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can reopen it again if you need be.
