    hello dear Michael.

first of all – many thanks for the great plugin – advanced i-frame-pro

it works right out of the box – and i took a code-snipped from your demo site – with some tweaking it works pretty nice

    one question:
the same code gives back two different “behaviors” and “views..” see the pages

    http://www.ex-libri.org/?page_id=2
    http://www.ex-libri.org

    this code is used…:

    [advanced_iframe securitykey="17acbf8c95d93acde30c97c1a0a2f25bd7a4dfde" use_shortcode_attributes_only="true" src="http://www.ubka.uni-karlsruhe.de/kvk_en.html" id="example5" height="2200" width="900" show_part_of_iframe="true" show_part_of_iframe_x="195" show_part_of_iframe_y="170" show_part_of_iframe_width="540" lshow_part_of_iframe_height="330" show_part_of_iframe_allow_scrollbar_vertical="false"]

one time this following option works – the other time it works not…
    show_part_of_iframe_allow_scrollbar_vertical=”false”

    – at the index-page it does not work
    – at the page ( http://www.ex-libri.org/?page_id=2 ) it does not work.

i do not know why this is so?!

    do you have an idea?
any and all help is appreciated

    regards
    say_hello

BTW: one additional question: – this included page is a meta-search-engine for libraries.
Am i able to do all the i-frame things in extra windos – in other words – all the kvk-pages (with the request-form)
and the subsequent pages with the results are showing in a extra-window. Is this possible?
I hope that i was able to explain what is wanted – the whole process of request / retrieval should be visible / possible…

    hello agian

the second question is influenced by the idea to cover the whole process-chain of the usage of the catalog

    here http://www.ubka.uni-karlsruhe.de/kvk_en.html

    – sending a request
    – receiving an result-list

The question is: how can i make a smart coverage of the whole process?

Hope i was able to make clear what i want to achieve.

guess that i can do this with the advanced iframe-pro.

Probably this means some configuration and tinkering..

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated… 😉

One has a width of 900 the other one of 830!

What do you mean this the extra window? that the result is shown there? Normally this is not possible. What you could do is to define a new viewport which is 100% and looks like a full page.

I don’t understand what you want to hide?

    Hello Michael

many thanks for the quick reply.

what i want to do is to show as much as possible of a retrival –

that is: you type eg. an author into the filed of the KVK-form
    eg. Hölderlin
    – then you choose a catalog – eg the ” German ” catalogs;
    – then you start the search
    – afterwards you get a result page.

to show the result-page in the same iframe – i have to optimize all a bit. but as for now: it allready looks nice.

btw: to bring another idea into play:
probably i want to combine all with a slide in effect – do you think this is possible?

    eg a – slide-in: http://codecanyon.net/item/easy-slidein-for-wordpress/7742759

see more on this page – http://www.autostaiger.de/ i have seen a interesting feature. At the bottom there is a field – with a telephone – when you it it with a mouse-over it gets bigger…:
    see the both images

    a. without pop-up
    b. with pop-up

    see the both images
    one: http://i57.tinypic.com/1zgggea.png
    two: http://i60.tinypic.com/szxvnn.png

i want to combine this with the advanced iframe do you think that this is possible?

    Dear Michael

first of all – i want to make the most out of the plugin advanced-iframe-pro

i want to show the full process of book-search & retrieval… with the KVK-catalog. Therefore i want to show
    a. the form (of KVK)
    b. the resultpage

this would be great if i can do so.

Therefore in need to customize the Advanced-iframe-pro. This will be done in the next days & weeks.

Please don’t use this forum for support of the pro version. This is for the free version only.

the slider does support shortcodes. But as it also does a lot of Javascript and styling I don’t know if they work together.

What do you mean with “Therefore in need to customize the Advanced-iframe-pro. This will be done in the next days & weeks.”

And you talk from a different domain as in the one you started the post?

    hello dear Michael,

regarding the aimed things that i want to achieve on http://www.ex-libri.org

btw: the second question was regarding the slide-in-plugin which i have found here http://codecanyon.net/item/easy-slidein-for-wordpress/7742759

only therefore i mentioned the “demo” page – http://www.autostaiger.de where i have found a slide in solution. In other words. I stumbled over this page http://www.autosteiger.de And while doing so i found this an interesting feature.
    Thats all.

Well i try it out – and find out if it works or not.

    hello,

    many thanks for the reply.

i will play with the customization of the advanced i-frame. at the moment it looks pretty nice.

btw: can i do some kind of zooming – in other words change the size of the image eg. the iframe? is this possible?
S the last little question (regarding the zooming in / changing the scope and the size of the image itself). I would be glad if i could do this.

By the way: in the next few days i will test the combination of the advanced i-frame-and the slide-in…

This thread can be regarded as solved.. – but perhaps you can say on last word regarding the change of size / scope … Thanks alot!
