Same Server, Different Directory

    Can, or should, I use this program to move a WordPress site from one directory to another on the same shared server and how would I do that?

    If there is an existing static website at mysite.com in the main directory (public_html) and I develop a new WP site in mysite.com/newsite can I use this plugin to then move the WP site into the main directory (public_html) after deleting all of the existing static files?

    If there is a tutorial on this process, please let me know.

    Yes, you can use the plugin.
    It is fairly simple to use.
    Export your site from your /newsite project.
    Install WordPress in public_html, install the plugin, import the file from /newsite
