    Hi,
The statistics for my outgoing newsletter have not gone down, but I have been getting much less response from my subscribers in the past few weeks.
Of course it is possible that people lose interest and move on, but I don’t know if that’s really the case or something else is happening – for example – being marked as Spam somewhere along the line or something else that prevents my subscribers from receiving my newsletter. I’m not sure what to do.

You the problem is spam, it’s hard to detect. You can try to use an external delivery service like mailgun, sendgrid, mailjet which can receiver spam reports and give you a measure of it.

About your stats, are you looking to absolute numbers of percentages? Percentages could get lower is you have a lot of new subscribers which are actually not interacting with your newsletters.

    Stefano.

I’m looking at the absolute numbers, not the percentages. My website lives on a shared server with a company called Network Redux. There have been cases in the past that there was a spammer on the server and I got blacklisted. Than they whitelisted me, but I’m not sure whether that reversed things to the way they were before the blacklisting.
What is being blacklisted – the IP or the sender’s email address?
Do I have better chances not being marked as spam if I go with another webhost? If so, any recommendations for a good (and not pricey) webhost?
