Is not normal to have the same name for posts, pages, categories and tags.
In my opinion it Anti-SEO.
You could change the order of $rewrite_rules, but it is impossible to know what the user wants to visit and return on same problem.
You could create a redirection by ajax for all links but from my point of view I do not see functional, because you would create a redirect for all links and modification all links by filters or actions to add that extra information and I do not think, for example, that the robot google pages indexed well.

o see no issues why tags cant be the same like name of category…..
without plugin works zoologi.pl/jaszczurki when i got tag jaszczurki so with that probably it should work also if you would fix it 😛 😛 😛 i want to start soon with new website any help welcome hot t o do that
so summary, an ychances to make this working when category name = tag name, or i need to find other sollution ? i tohought it will be working ok when tags are under tags alias :/ if cant do anything, i think i can delete this tag but my site i think is not going to be well nvigated ;/
ithink should be an option to overwrite i mean url of category > url of tag and would be imba. i am changing my tags a bit to suit new situation 😉
