What do you mean by “each site?” Are you using the theme in a mult-site installation of WordPress?
I have set some static sites only with information (not blog sites). When I set for example a text widget on one site, it will be shown in all sites of my homepage. When I remove it on one site, the widgets will be removed everywhere. I am not using a special multi-site installation of word press. Whats wrong there?
Have you tested this with another theme? Are your sites connected somehow?
The pages aren’t connected. Probably I need a second sidebar, now there is only one.
When creating a page, now there is no possibility to select between sidebar or not. Probably there is more sidebars in an upgrade version. I would upgrade the template, but of course first I have to know, how many sidebars it has and if there is an option to select between sidebars when creating a page. Do you know this?
When you say “sites”, do you actually mean “pages?”
The premium version has two sidebars.
You’re right, when I say sites I mean pages.
The thing is, that now there is no possibility to create different kind of pages concernig the sidebar. When choosing sidebar once, it appears on all pages.
Is it meant to be like this or is there another possibility to create pages?
You could try a plugin. Content Aware Sidebars is the first one I found, but there are probably others that would work just as well.
That is how the theme is built. In order to change which widgets appear on each page you would need a plugin like @stephencottontail suggested.
You can also try Jetpack and Widget Logic.
OK I will try to solve it that way. Thanks for now. I will close this topic, as soon I have realized it.
Hi all,
I have found a fantastic and very simple plug-in indeed, to create different sidebars on sites.
Thanks for support!
