save draft and update hanging

Hi, I’m writing the pages and 80% of the time when i click on save draft or update I get the message asking me if i want to navigate away or stay on the page. I click stay on the page and then it just hangs and does nothing. When I reload the page it goes back to a ‘presumably’ auto saved version.
