there seems to be an issue with saving the settings in the General settings section on some set-ups. It seems that in those cases the settings are not added to the database correctly. A manual fix is to add a setting to the database manually, see this thread in which a user had the same issue and manually adding any option resolved it: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/save-settings-not-working-5/#post-16341464
Could you also provide me with a list of plugins + the theme you are using so I can try to replicate this issue?

Dear @markwolters i have the same conflict.
I can’t save the settings if I want to enable Tracking Ajax Search or other settings. Where exactly does this “wpsi_exclude_admin” function need to go in the database? Directly just in the wp option and is there generally a general solution? Since I have noticed it on different hostings and different websites even with blank themes and without plugins.
