We have other users with WPML who haven’t reported this sort of trouble.
This plugin changes keys on database tables. It does not do anything else (unless you are actively capturing a monitor).
Changing keys does not change data. The MariaDB and MySQL teams invest large amounts of software QA work to ensure that is the case and you and I can trust that rekeying is safe.
I could be wrong about all that, though. What happens if you revert the keys on your wp_postmeta table? Do your random glitches vanish? If so, please follow up and let me know. And if you do, please upload your metadata from Tools -> Index MySQL -> About and let me know your upload id.

The glitches in Woocommerce stopped coming after we reverted the keys.
It feels like something is going wrong …
we will test it more.
