• Hi there!

Hope you’re having a great day today!

This website is down: http://merrillhanson.com/ because of malware. I need to get to the Blog posts that we written.

I can still login into the FTP and I see all the file there. But I do not know where is the Blogs that were written. Do you know? I need to save them to my desktop so I can add them to the new theme.

Where are the Blogs in the FTP? What is the name of that file?

    Thank you so much,
    Christine

  • I am sorry that your site was damaged. Your posts, comments and pages are in the database. Your images and other media are in wp-content > uploads.

To get to the database you login to your hosting account and use phpmyadmin. You will use FTP for anything in the wp-content directory.

If your database was not damaged, all you should have to do is a new clean install. Export your old database and then import it into the new one. All the old content should be there.
