    Hi

    I have obtained an API-Key through the Google Developers Console.

    When I input the key into Simple Calendar Settings and hits “save changes”, the key disappears from the field and the plugin says “Settings saved”…

    Do you know what can be wrong?

    I have already tried generating a new API-Key.

    Are you using PHP 7.1?
    There is a bug, with this version.

    Using PHP 7.0 should solve it, untill the developers of this plugin solve the bug.

    Glad you were able to get it working. Apologies for the confusion.

    Problem not still not solved. solution is only a workaround.
