Hi @tashword,
Is this for the free version of USP or Pro?
Hi Jeff,
Just the free version – I’ll try that first!
Yeah I ask because the forums here at ww.wp.xz.cn do not allow any discussion of pro/premium plugins; it’s for free versions only.
So for the reported issue with the 403 error, it sounds like something (like another plugin or theme) is interfering with normal functionality. So the best way to determine the cause of the issue is to do some basic troubleshooting. If you are not familiar with the process, I would be glad to provide a free guide.
Ok, thanks.
I assume you meant try turning off other plugins and use a process of elimination to see what is interfering?
Yeah that’s the only real way of finding out what’s happening in any given case. Alternately if troubleshooting theme and plugins is not an option, you can set up a new WP install, leave everything at defaults (plugins, theme, settings), install only USP and try again. In such case, you will see how the plugin works normally, so you can then add plugins one at a time, etc. until one of them breaks things again. Let me know if any questions about this, USP, etc. Glad to help anytime.
Hey @tashword, let me know if you find anything or have any further questions, etc. Thank you.
Hey @tashword, I hope you got this sorted. Itβs been a while with no reply so gonna go ahead and mark this thread as resolved to help keep the forum organized. Feel free to post again with any further questions or feedback, Thank you.
How did you resolve this? I have this issue too and cannot use this plugin as it is π
@kirstenosa, the best way to determine the cause of the issue is to do some basic troubleshooting. If you are not familiar with the process, I would be glad to provide a free guide.
@kirstenosa as Jeff suggested, I disabled other plugins until the forms were working. I’m sorry – I can’t remember which plugin it was in the end that was causing trouble.
However, once that issue was resolved, the forms have worked without any issue π
