    Howdy,

I am using your awesome widget and have transferred my site to a new host. After exporting the sql database and the wp content folder, I find that on my new WP installation, that all the widgets I had created are gone. Is there a way to save them when changing hosts or do I just need to recreate them all?

Hi – i think it’s a wordpress thing. Widgets are attached to themes. My plugin had figured out how to save it’s widgets and reload them when a theme was changed to maintain continuity. I don’t know what wp in general doesn’t remember themes if you convert the options table and use the same theme.

If you converted the whole sql db then the ‘saved’ widgets should still be there in the options table. Possibly overwritten now by whatever you have done since.
