Hi @rd825,
Is there anything I need to do to fix this with your plugin?
This plugin is fully SCA compliant. Where are you seeing the message “Update your integration now for SCA”?
It directs you to the other Stripe plugin because Stripe still hasn’t updated our listing on their site but rest assured this plugin is fully SCA compliant.

Hi there,
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly 🙂
The message is on my Stripe homepage…
I’m trying to add a screenshot here, but can’t. I can email you one if that helps?
It says:
Important: Update your integration for SCA
While European regulation mandates that full enforcement of Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) begins on 31 Dec 2020, some banks are now declining a portion of payments that aren’t SCA-ready. To make sure your payments are approved, please update your integration.
Then I follow the link and the next page says:
Update your integration now for SCA
European regulation mandates
Strong Customer Authentication (SCA)
, which means many card payments now require a form of two-factor authentication. Until you update your integration, payments that aren't authenticated may be declined by your customers' banks.

Required
After you update your integration, make sure you check it using our regulatory test cards. This will help you test 3D secure, the extra verification step your customers will complete.
Read the docs on testing your integration
Plan for any off-session payments
If you charge customers when they’re not actively using your application, you can take advantage of exemptions. To do this, authenticate when you collect card details and save them to charge later.
Read the docs on reusing cards
Make sure you identify each payment flow
Depending on when and how you charge your customers, you may have to update multiple payment flows for SCA. Make sure you identify and update each one.
Read the docs on identifying your payment flows
@rd825,
A screenshot isn’t necessary. I can confirm my solution is fully SCA compliant with the new regulations.
What payment method was your customer using when it failed?
Sometimes payments just fail, not because it’s an issue with my plugin but because that’s part of doing business online.
Kind Regards,
Hi @rd825,
Stripe has not added our plugin to the list of SCA ready partner solutions.
