Hello @jenhansard
Hope you’re doing well today! Thank you for reaching out to us, sorry to hear about the issues you had to face with BLC Cloud.
I reviewed the internal logs of your recent BLC scan and also checked the reported links – where I noticed there were too many links on your website that were showing various errors ranging from 403 – Forbidden to 500 Internal server error.
The internal server errors are the cause that BLC faced while scanning the links on your website – this is a good indicator to check if the Server was showing any signs of resources exhaustion something that caused BLC to abort the scan so that the server is not overloaded.
In this case, could you please reach out to your hosting support to see if there were any errors showing on the server around the time you initiated the scan? This will help to further narrow down as to why the issue occurred.
You can refer to the BLC document here: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/broken-link-checker/#error-19-too-many-errors
Additionally, you can read more about the Broken link status code for the URLs that were already scanned here: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/broken-link-checker/#broken-link-status-codes
Please do let us know how it goes with your hosting support.
Awaiting your response.
Kind Regards,
Saurabh
