Hi @losteineu,
Does it have any errors logged in wordpress error log? If it keeps running and showing the progress “Scanning”? Please cross-check the browser DevTools console log for any errors. Is it the timeout 500 error for browser Devtools > Network > Fetch / XHR?
AIOS > Settings > General settings if you enable the debug log and then “Scan now” do it logs the debug log in AIOS > Dashboard > Debugging tab- the log AIOWPSecurity_Scan::execute_file_change_detection_scan – change to filesystem detected! ?

Thanks, but this didn’t work. Even in debug mode, I did not get any results. Should I try a longer scan? This time, I stopped after 5min.

Eric
Hi @losteineu,
Generally, five minutes should be enough to scan the WordPress files, but if you have a large number of files, it might take longer. Could you please exclude image file types from the check? Generally php files are changed that need to check for any hacked file code.

If any error or timeout 500, I can say more, but it seems you have a large number of files and the max execution time reached, and it keeps showing scanning.
