Scan Error: Accesso negato (code: 5) – failed to open dir

    Hi,
    I’m asking assistance because I’m seeing an issue in Wordfence scanning in my site http://www.fondazionepesenti.it.
    below the error message:

(code: 5) in C:\inetpub\vhost\italmobiliare\fondazionepesenti\wp-content\plugins\wordfence\lib\wfScanEngine.php on line 596 Warning: scandir(C:\inetpub\vhost\italmobiliare\fondazionepesenti/): failed to open dir: No such file or directory in C:\inetpub\vhost\italmobiliare\fondazionepesenti\wp-content\plugins\wordfence\lib\wfScanEngine.php on line 596 Warning: scandir(): (errno 2): No such file or directory in C:\inetpub\vhost\italmobiliare\fondazionepesenti\wp-content\plugins\wordfence\lib\wfScanEngine.php on line 596

    I have the same error also for the site http://www.bergamo2035.it, http://rifoit.org, and also for http://www.arcvision.org.

    Please contact me as soon as possible to help me to solve this problem.

    Hi Valeria,
    If you can connect to your website via SFTP or FTP using FileZilla for example, Could you please check the owner of this directory “fondazionepesenti” and make sure it’s the same as reported in (Wordfence > Tools => Diagnostics => PHP => Process Owner)?

    P.S. We do not recommend using Wordfence on Windows/IIS as mentioned in the plugin requirements page.

    thanks for your reply.
    Yes, the owner of this directory “fondazionepesenti” is the same as reported in (Wordfence > Tools => Diagnostics => PHP => Process Owner)? Process Owner >>> ok LSV-WEB$.
    But the scan error persists….
