Can you also let me know what settings you have for the scan options? (Wordfence -> Scan -> Scan Options and Scheduling -> Performance Options)

iam using 1&1 (now its called ionos). i have 2 different websites. And with my main website it works, so it cant be a issue of my provider.
Here the Options:
Limit the number of issues sent in the scan results email
0 or empty means unlimited issues will be sent = 1000
Time limit that a scan can run in seconds
0 or empty means the default of 3 hours will be used = standard
How much memory should Wordfence request when scanning
Memory size in megabytes = 256
Maximum execution time for each scan stage
0 for default. Must be greater than 7 and 10-20 or higher is recommended for most servers = 20

Go to Wordfence -> All Tools -> Diagnostics -> Send Report by Email
Can I also have you try setting Maximum execution time for each scan stage to 10 and retrying the scan?
