    Hello,

I am using the cloud blc version and I have set the time to 5 am local time (Asia/Karachi) but yesterday the scan was taking place around 8-9 pm. I asked my editors if they initiated a scan themselves but they said no. This is the image of the timing configuration that I have always set:

Not sure why it started running by itself. Also if I change these settings to weekly and add Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday there, does this mean the scan will take place on these days only?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @hbk747

Hope you’re doing well today! I am sorry to hear about the issue.

Indeed, I was able to notice that the site seems to miss the scheduled scan time that is set. Could you please confirm if the schedule was modified recently? I could also notice that the scan was ongoing for a while before timing out due to the 3 hour scan threshold. Something on which we are already working to improve.

    Ref: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/broken-link-checker/#error-15-timeout

Further, could you please try to switch to a different time on the schedule >> save and then revert back to the original schedule (5 am local time) and check if the scheduled scan works fine?

Also if I change these settings to weekly and add Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday there, does this mean the scan will take place on these days only?

Indeed, when you set a weekly schedule, the scan will trigger only on the selected days per week. You can read more about it here: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/broken-link-checker/#scan-schedule

Please let us know how it goes.

    Kind Regards,
    Saurabh

So what I have done for now is I have changed it to a weekly schedule where I have selected Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday at 5 am.

Since its Thursday today on my dashboard I can see that it ran on 5:01 am. Could you kindly confirm. I will check tomorrow and day then day after to see if it is working on the allotted times.
