Scanning isn’t completing

    Hi there

    For some reason malware scan isn’t completing.. Showing the below

    An error

    Unexpected response code: 0. Error: timeout
    Stage: file_system_analysis

    Could you advice please?

    Hello @tanmay-kumar-das,

    1. Please look at the php settings on your server (php.ini). What is the value of the ‘max_execution_time’ parameter? Try increasing it and start a new scan. Any result?
    2. It’s also possible that you’re using a cache plugin that contains a lot of cache files, which is why our scanner can’t scan them all. If you’re using a cache plugin, then add the folder where the cache generated by the caching plugin is stored to the exclusions: WordPress Admin Page → Settings → Security by CleanTalk → General Settings → Directory exclusions for the malware scanner.
