Schedule not working

Hi,
I’ve been using Broken Link Checker for several months. Occasionally, one or more of my sites are not scanned as scheduled. However, last week the scheduler failed to run on any of my sites.I manually checked all 12 sites, and each one indicated that the next scan was scheduled for August 9th. But when I checked today, none of the scans had run. Additionally, the Broken Link Checker icons on the dashboard were gray; they only turn green again after a manual scan.
Could you please advise what might be causing this issue and how I can resolve it so that I don’t have to manually start all scans every time?
