Schedule republish does not work

I am trying to use the “schedule republish” feature of the plugin and can’t seem to get it to work. I can successfully “Rewrite & Republish”, make changes and then immediately “Republish”. Changes are shown as expected. But when I do “Rewrite & Republish”, make changes, set a date and time (in the future) and the press “Schedule Republish”, post is not updated after the set time has passed.
