Scheduling posts doesn’t respond

    My “schedule” posts button no longer seems to work. I click on it and nothing happens. I have to save as draft, go to quick edit to change the date scheduled,and then go to full edit to schedule the post. It used to work, and I thought it stopped working when I downloaded 2.8.5, but I just downloaded 2.8.6 and it still doesn’t work. Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong? Obviously, I’m not technically adept….

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
