Hi @stuwetueho,
thanks for your questions, I’ll try give some helpful answers 😉
1. I have not implemented any special caching logic. I assume the plugin is not very sensitive to caching as the current time plays a big role in all widgets and shortcodes (especially in the is-open widget/shortcode)
2. There is no special WPML support, however you can customize all of the strings presented on the front-end of the site using widget/shortcode options. You might have to use separate instances of the widgets per language but you can adjust the shortcode options in every of the translated pages. Please refer to the shortcode documentation on GitHub: https://github.com/janizde/WP-Opening-Hours#shortcodes
3. I actually tried to support schema.org tags but back then I figured out that the schema.org spec for shops doesn’t offer a way to specify multiple periods per day. If you know a way to do this please hit me up!
Cheers
Thank you for your answers!
Regardings schema.org-markup: I think you can use the meta tag here to insert mutiple time slots per day (see first answer here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/17058982/different-type-of-openinghours-per-day-using-schema-org).
Greetings, Simon
