Script not the same as Google Analytics tracking script
-
Hi there
I’ve enabled the site for Display Network Tracking and the code produced
The Tracking code produced in GA is
<script type="text/javascript"> var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-39971122-1']); _gaq.push(['_setDomainName', 'veryniceshoes.co.uk']); _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']); (function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://' : 'http://') + 'stats.g.doubleclick.net/dc.js'; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s); })(); </script>[Please post code & markup between backticks or use the code button. Your posted code may now have been permanently damaged by the forum’s parser.]
However the code on ‘View Source’ has
‘.google-analytics.com/ga.js’ and not stats.g.doubleclick.net/dc.js
What needs to be done to correct this ?
Thanks
John
