• I’m hunting down quirks in my site. When i refresh the site, I see a scroll bar appear for a brief moment on the right side of the header, as though the header is much longer than what appears.

This seems like a quirk, and maybe a slow down, too. Is there anything I can do to track this down, and clean up my code?

Hey @ezbc – I’ve indeed been able to see that for a second, but then it disappears which makes it almost impossible to troubleshoot.

My guess would be that while the stylesheets are loading (such as the fonts), it takes a larger font resulting in bigger spaces. If you at the same time have a max-height set up for the header, then it’ll temporarily show that sidebar because it doesn’t have enough space with the other font.

Troubleshooting that specifically will be very tough though, but given that it seems to be related to the loading of style sheets, I don’t think this’ll slow your website down.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
