• In the setting section, it says “when people scroll an event will be sent to Analytics which means there is no bounce.” Is there way to set it so that when people scroll certain point of page, and then event will be sent to analytic?

because i think this will be more reflect to the fact that users actually interact.

also maybe add the timing on the scrolling, like how long it takes to scroll down to certain point of page and then fire the event.

Maybe add the function to the next version : ) because i think this plugin has a lot of potential to calculate true bounce rate

    Hi siteber,

I have been thinking of implementing this and it is possible, but the problem is that there must be tags that mark the scroll. Let’s say that you want to send an event to GA when someone passes the header and another one after the content and another one at the bottom of the page. When I want to add this function to the plugin people need to have the same tags or I need to create some fields where the tags names can be filled in. The latter would be the best of course.

Another option might be to see if it is possible to get the scrolling length (in pixels or percentage) into GA.

Timing to scrolling I’m not sure if that would help. You have fast and slow readers.

Again, I have been thinking about this as well and haven’t done anything with it yet, because I wanted to focus on the bounce rate and time on site part first. But the ideas I like.
