Scrollbar in text area missing

    Hi, we are using Version 2.8.9 and scrollbar seems to be gone for text areas. However our customer would like to the scrollbar to show automatically in view mode (with the box having a min height like i.ex. 300px) and no scrollbar in edit mode.
    How can we proceed?
