reto.kuepfer,
Can you somehow take a video of this issue so I can have a visual on what is happening? I am not sure that I understand the issue completely.
likewise.
the entire screen auto scrolls to the top, like a machine (imagine the scroll wheel on your mouse).
you’ve made me switch to IE – it works there flawless.
p.s. also, the “warning” needs a tick box to suppress and give me back that valuable real estate on my screen.

Yes! Just came here to say the same thing. Recently started having this problem in Chrome, too. I love this plugin. I hope a fix to this bug can be found soon.
I made this quick video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByQLSElLWSDyM29UazhFbW1DQkU/edit?usp=sharing
Thanks guys for the feedback. Can you try deactivating all other plugins except WP Editor and let me know if the issue persists? I cannot duplicate this at all in my development.
I just deactivated all of the plugins except wp-editor, and the problem was still there. Then I updated WP to 3.9, but that didn’t fix it either. I also switched to twenty fourteen, but that didn’t work. (I’m currently using the theme Smpl Skeleton.)
This video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbomCU-OD8I led me to a solution. For some reason, the browser window changed to 90% zoom, just on the editor page. All of the rest of my browser tabs are at 100%. I changed the tab back to 100% zoom, and now the problem is gone! No clue why the browser would randomly change to 90% on the editor page…

Thanks for following up with that. I will mark this as resolved for now. If it comes up again in any way we can reopen this ticket.
