Search and Filter Documents

Is there any way to search the documents by keyword and/or filter by tag?

Basically, I am trying to create a resource database with pdf documents, YouTube video links, and external links. This database should be searchable by keywords, file type, and tags. I managed to use the folders/categories for the file types, and I applied tags to the posts, but the tags don’t seem to work to filter the document list.
