    Hello,

    I installed the free version of connections to test it before buying.

    But I don’t know how to add the search bar to filter by categories.

    The directory display, but I cannot choose which category I want to see with the “filter bar” because there is no filter bar.

    Is it only available on premium ?

    The category filter and the keyword search are features enabled in all the premium templates:

    You can test the filter, and keyword search on the Connections Manage admin page.

    Hello Steven!

    Is the search function only available on the Pro or Premium templates?

    We use a custom template (and don’t want to switch) but noticed that the enable_search code doesn’t work:

    [connections enable_search='TRUE']

    Yes, that is correct.

    RE: We use a custom template (and don’t want to switch) but noticed that the enable_search code doesn’t work:

    The shortcode option will only work for templates that support the feature.

    If you used the custom template override files for your custom templates and depending on what exact customization you made, it is possible to switch and maintain your changes by moving the custom override files. Depending on your changes, you may have to make some tweaks to those files.
