Search box : background colour

    Hello,
    When I use the search box,
    the Search result is displayed in a box with a dark a background
    As a result, I can’t read the result of my search
    Could you please let me know if there is a way to access the background colour of the Search result from the menu?
    If not , can you advise on a CSS code?

    Hi,

    You can go to Appearance > Customize > Styling > Background > Content Area Background, to change the background color of the content area.

    Thanks for your reply.
    In fact, I did that, the background of all pages is the colour I picked BUT when I get the Search Result the background of this box is dark purple and I cna’t read what is inside the box.

    Hi,

    You can use this custom CSS code in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS, to change the background color on this case.

    #blog-posts .entry-inner {
    background-color: transparent;
}

    Just to let you know, I finally found how to change the background colour of the Search result box from the menu:
    Customize>blog> blog posts>page setup>post wrapping
    (The thread may not be 100% accurate sinc I am translating from the French version: Personnaliser>blog>articles de blog>mise en page>enrobeur d’articles)
    I hope this may be helpful….
