Search by Custom Fields

Thanks again for your help. I seem to keep getting stuck.

Ideally, I want users to search by custom fields. From what I can tell, searching by general categories is not going to work, because list holders can only choose one, and this won’t work in our case.

I tried setting the plugin to do this, but it didn’t seem to work, so I tried creating a search by the search box, with a list of the choices in the custom fields below it, thinking users could type in one of the search topics and come up with what they were seeking.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to work either. i typed in “Spiritual Growth,” which one of the topics listed on an actibe listing, but that just takes me to a page with 0 results and a list of the custom fields, which is what I wanted on the search page.

How can I get the plugin to create a search for these custom fields? if I can do this, it will be perfect!
