Could you attempt to reset Site Kit and let us know if the error persists?
It usually says search console is gathering data and once that passes and finishes it goes to this error. Right now search console is gathering data but I’m guessing it’s going to show an error soon enough.

Thanks everyone for your patience. We’re seeing this occur on and off for some users and suspect it could be related to the underlying API to connect to Search Console (some users have had success with resetting Site Kit). You can monitor this Github issue and we’ll also follow up with further updates as we have them.

So far it seems to be fixed! I haven’t had the error pop up in the passed day.
