    Hello,

I am seeing serious data discrepancies which I can’t figure out.

I am using Sitekit, and connected to it is Google Analytics and Search Console.

According to search console; over the past 3-4 days I’ve been getting 100-120 google discover clicks per day.

However, on Google Analytics I’m only getting 10-20 sessions per day. Surely, these sessions from Discover should be reported on Analytics too? I know there can be some discrepancy between the two, but not this much.

I posted a thread on Google communities too, and I have got no answers so far: https://support.google.com/analytics/thread/181197313

    Hi @arranrice2012,

Thanks for opening a support topic. Unfortunately we’re limited to Site Kit queries here in the plugin support forums. If the sessions per day is less than the number of clicks on discover this is possibly due to you having more than one version of your homepage, such as language or regional differences, with data attributed to only to the canonical URL. It could also be due to a consent or cookie related plugin, with users having to consent before Analytics will fire.

As Google Discover is more a Search Console related feature you may wish to ask the product experts over on the Search Console Help Center, along with the question you posted to the Analytics Help Center.

I’ll close this support topic now, but hopefully you can find the answer over at the Search Console Help Center. Best of luck!
