Hello!
WooCommerce marks some of the pages as ‘noindex’ automatically, such as the Cart and Checkout pages.
If you apply ‘noindex’ to those via The SEO Framework’s Visibility fields, then they’ll get removed from the sitemap as well. It will take some time for Google to spot your changes, however.

Hi Sybre.
I understand that Woocommerce marks these pages as noindex. Using your plugin I’ve set noindex and nofollow in admin on these 3 pages.
Those 3 pages are not part of the sitemap and havn’t been for a while.

The sitemap has been sent to search console. Search console is giving those errors even though the three pages are not included in the sitemap and also several weeks after they were set to noindex in admin.
What you’ve suggested I’ve done several weeks ago. Still getting the search console errors. What is your workaround?
Hello!
You can resubmit sitemaps using Google Search Console. Please see their guide for this: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/7451001
Note that although TSF’s sitemap works on /sitemap_index.xml for compatibility reasons, the proper location is /sitemap.xml (without a slash at the end). Cheers!

Hi Sybre!
Thanks.
I’ve used WP Sitemap Page which I’ve just noticed doesn’t really generate a XML sitemap. Meaning I’ll propably uninstall that plugin as it’s not useful to me.
Correct me if I’m wrong, TSF generates a sitemap on https://hangmattor.se/sitemap.xml/ ?
That’s what I should resubmit to Google?
Hi again!
Yes, that’s the URL you should submit to Google, without the trailing /, though 🙂
