This text was in the older versions of the plugin. The correct description of this section in the latest version is as follows: “Track and report visits referred from [Search Engine Name].”

No, search engines do not track anything. It is our plugin that records users who enter your site through search engines. This means that if Google Search Engine Tracking is enabled and a user enters your site from Google, the address google.com will be recorded in the Referrer section for that user.
