    I would like to have a category / business search field on my home page. Is there a shortcode available for a quick – search field?

    Does your theme support displaying widgets on the home page? If it does, there is the Widget Pack:

    For most users, I recommend a premium template. They all include the keyword search and category filter features:

    The most popular template is the cMap template, which I usually recommend to most. Just a template might not suit your needs because the search features are part of the template and can not be displayed separately.
